Carlo Ancelotti has called on his Real Madrid players to ‘make history’ by beating Juventus and reaching another Champions League final.

Los Blancos are 2-1 down from the first leg in Turin, but are aiming to become the first team to retain the Champions League.

“The team is focused with a desire to win,” Ancelotti assured at his pre-match Press conference.

“There is the desire to win a great semi-final and have the opportunity to play in another final. We’re trying to write another page of history, because no-one has played [won] two Champions League finals [in a row].

“History is not on our side, but we’ll do everything possible to win.

“We’ll have to avoid losing concentration, and play with intensity.”

The former Milan Coach also confirmed that Karim Benzema would be available to face the Bianconeri.

“Benzema is available, 100 per cent. He’s had more time to recover, and now he’s ready.

“He could play from the start or come off the bench.”
