Real Madrid’s match against Villarreal is Carlo Ancelotti’s 100th La Liga game in charge of Los Blancos.

The 62-year-old Italian coach took over from Zinedine Zidane last summer, returning to the job after previously spending two years with the Spanish club from 2013 to 2015. Ancelotti has done well this season, guiding Los Blancos to the top of the La Liga table and into the Champions League knockout stages, where they’ll face Paris Saint-Germain.

Ancelotti is the 8th Real Madrid coach to reach the 100 La Liga game milestone, and he’s done so with a strong record. In the 99 league games he’s overseen so far, the Italian coach has picked up 73 wins, 13 draws and 13 losses, doing better than Zinedine Zidane, who guided the club to three Champions League titles.

The only coach to have done better in their first 100 league games was Jose Mourinho, who picked up 76 wins in his first 100 La Liga matches.
