Alessio Romagnoli seems destined to leave Milan on a free transfer in the summer, with possible moves to Juventus and Lazio on the cards.
The 27-year-old Italian defender is attached to the Rossoneri colours and feels like a true captain of the squad, but these factors were not enough to convince him to accept the contract renewal offered before Christmas. The centre back was not happy with the idea of dropping his salary from the current €5.5m net per season to the €2.8m plus add-ons offered recently.
As reported by Calciomercato.com, Romagnoli is increasingly likely to leave Milan in the summer. His agent Mino Raiola would like to bring him to Juventus, but for now no results have been achieved.

Lazio have made a concrete move for the Italian defender, hoping to sign a player who has supported the club since he was a child. Claudio Lotito’s current idea is to sell Francesco Acerbi in the summer in order to replace him with Romagnoli.

Another ridiculous situation. Need to sign him up and not strengthen a rival.
Come to Lazio man, we need you!
Could Lazio afford to pay him what he wants?
He has upped his game recently after two years of slump, that’s for sure, but still, he’s not the first choice in defense so his wages are still way too much.
Lazio news are ridiculous by the way, how are they going to pay him his salary? Juventus will be happy to pay him what he’s earning here though, considering he’ll go there for free, and it’s their buddy Raiola after all.
I guess he’ll go to Juve and Milan will replace him with Botman.
Lazio pay savic around 4 m and same for Ciro..if he comes he will get this salary in the team he supports…smart move
With 4m he would stay at Milan. He’s earning 5.5m and Lazio can’t pay him that, obviously.
He feels like “a true captain” but something is missing to keep him “attached to the Rossoneri colours”.
If that’s the truth than perhaps playing for the Dallas Cowboys will fill that void 🙂
PhD Max will give the green light and add another slow player to the already slow backline.
