Massimiliano Allegri says Zlatan Ibrahimovic was singled out for his three-match ban. “Others turn a blind eye.”

The Milan striker was sent off against Fiorentina for swearing at the assistant referee, although claimed he had been muttering to himself.

“The rules were applied, but sometimes a referee doesn't always make the same decisions,” Allegri told Sport Mediaset.

“At times he can bring out the red card, as with Ibrahimovic, while on other occasions he'll turn a blind eye.”

The Scudetto race is very tight with Napoli now in second place, so Allegri had a message for fiery opponent Walter Mazzarri.

“He should be extremely happy with what he has achieved, but I haven't the time to think about others. He's free to think what he likes about me. I am rather fond of him.”

The Milan boss also commented on President Silvio Berlusconi's overtures towards Cristiano Ronaldo.

“I had no doubts the President would like him, because he loves players with quality. Is he economically compatible with Ibra? You'd have to ask Berlusconi.”
