Massimiliano Allegri won't relax in the title race yet, even if he ruled Inter out. “We've got to keep an eye on Napoli.”

Tonight's results have opened up an eight-point gap between Milan and the Nerazzurri with just five games left to play.

“Admittedly eight points with only 15 available is a very tough ask, but rather than celebrate Inter falling behind, I'd keep an eye out for Napoli,” said the Coach.

The Rossoneri thrashed Sampdoria 3-0 while Inter surprisingly fell 2-0 at Parma.

“It was difficult in the first half, as Sampdoria defended well and we took a while to break the deadlock.

“After the break we put more pressure on and it went well for us.”

Bad news, though, as Alexandre Pato and Christian Abbiati both limped off with muscular problems.

Considering Zlatan Ibrahimovic has another two games left on his ban, there is a striker shortage.

“We hope to get Pippo Inzaghi back before the end of the season, as he is training well and working really hard.”
