“After winning seven Scudetti and four Coppe Italia, it’s time to win in Europe, having gone close before,” Allegri said at a Samsung event.

“Cristiano Ronaldo? I think he should be managed normally, as always, while letting him know we’re close to him, like I said at my Press conference.

“If he does what he did in Udine, where he scored an extraordinary goal…”

Juve have won all 10 competitive games so far this season, and the Coach was asked about that record.

“I remember when [Fabio] Capello’s Milan beat my Pescara 5-4 and he said that after that game they wouldn’t lose any. That was, in fact, what happened.

“The truth is though that you have to take things one game at a time. Straight after the international break we have Genoa, who have just changed their Coach, and that won’t be easy.

“Injuries? Douglas Costa is fit and he’ll be there against Genoa, but I don’t know about Sami Khedira.”
