Federico Ferri insists Sky Sport journalists will go ahead with ‘professionalism, credibility and politeness’ after Massimiliano Allegri argued with a pundit during a post-match interview on Sunday.

Allegri raged at Sky Sport Italia pundit Gianfranco Teotino on Sunday after a 0-0 draw against Genoa in Turin.

What Allegri told Sky journalist

Teotino asked Allegri to explain Juventus‘ poor results in the last eight games and his tactical decisions, but the Juventus coach lost his temper and replied that those questions were not intelligent.

The dispute continued on live TV, as the Italian coach said journalists do not need to understand but should just ask questions.

Sky Sport Italia director Federico Ferri wrote a brief message on X, formerly Twitter, following the argument between Allegri and Teotino. Although he never mentioned Allegri, it was a message clearly aimed at the Italian coach.

How Sky Sport director replied to Allegri

“For interviews, journalists report, ask questions, and explain. They must understand so those who follow us can understand too. That’s why there are answers and questions. Like Teotino, we proceed with professionalism, credibility, and politeness.”

Former Serie A defender Daniele Adani, one of the most popular Serie A pundits, mentioned the social media message on X. Adani is known for not being a fan of Allegri. Adani also argued with the Juventus boss in 2018 after Juventus’ win over Inter at San Siro.
