Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri will make his 500th appearance as a coach in Serie A when the Old Lady take on Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday evening, a milestone that the coach ‘happy’ with what he has achieved in the game.

Allegri has already racked up a mammoth 812 competitive matches throughout his coaching career, but Saturday’s game against Lazio will be yet another milestone in the top flight of Italian football.

“I see the desire, the passion and the love I have for this sport. I have been attending football matches for 47 years now. Previously we started the youngsters off at 10 years old, now it’s at five already!,” Allegri said on his latest milestone, reported via TMW.

“I am becoming young in a different sort of way and I am happy with what I have done, but at the same time I really want to carry on having fun and being on the grass. I would be bored if not.

“Now the important thing is to think about tomorrow and these 55 days which must be a stimulus for us.”
