Max Allegri gives a specific warning to Juventus going into the game with PSG this evening, but confirms ‘it could be the night’ Federico Chiesa makes his comeback on the field.

It kicks off at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin at 20.00 GMT.

The Bianconeri cannot reach the Round of 16, but are still battling for third place and Europa League qualification with Maccabi Haifa.

“We need a good performance, it is a strong test for the young lads against a great team in the Champions League,” Allegri told Sky Sport Italia.

“It’s natural there is disappointment, bitterness and anger at missing out on the Round of 16, but there’s still the Europa League to play for.”

Juve are decimated by injuries and suspensions, which rule out at least 10 players including Dusan Vlahovic, Danilo, Angel Di Maria, Leandro Paredes and Gleison Bremer.

“We must try to do the best we can. It’s important when PSG have possession to be careful, because they make you think the game is going to sleep, then Messi, Mbappé, Verratti and others are so good at having these sudden changes of pace, which is how we conceded the first time out.

“These are their characteristics, but on the other hand, we can have our chances too.”

Moise Kean was a late addition to the injury list, but Chiesa is back in the squad for the first time 10 months after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament.

Can Chiesa actually play this evening or is he just on the bench to make up the numbers and enjoy the Champions League atmosphere?

“Kean had a problem with an old scar. Chiesa had a good training session yesterday, my only concern was seeing him still blocked mentally. I brought him along and he can play if there is the opportunity.

“He has to start returning somewhere and this could be the correct night for him.”
