Max Allegri is increasingly the prime target for Paris Saint-Germain after Thomas Meunier hinted Unai Emery will be sacked.

The Juventus tactician has long been on their radar, but in recent weeks surpassed Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and Tottenham Hotspur’s Mauricio Pochettino in the management sweepstakes.

This is because of his excellent Champions League record, taking Juve to two Finals in three years and disposing of Spurs in the Round of 16.

Several French sources have already stated that Allegri is the favourite and now Le Parisien newspaper joins the chorus.

He has a contract with Juventus until June 2020, but could be tempted by the unrivalled wealth of PSG.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Meunier accidentally confirmed what everyone suspected ever since the Champions League exit to Real Madrid.

“With regards to my future, I need to meet with the club and figure out what they are going to do,” he told reporters at a Press conference.

“The club knows my position. I am waiting, as many things are going to change next season, including the Coach.”
