Elseid Hysaj’s agent has told Napoli that a top club is prepared to pay his €50m release clause, according to Tuttosport.
The Albania international full-back was signed from Empoli for just €5m in 2015, following Coach Maurizio Sarri to the Stadio San Paolo.
He is under contract until June 2021 and there is a €50m release clause with very specific deadlines.
It can only be activated between June 30 and July 15 each year.

Tuttosport claim that Hysaj has already received a promise to buy him for that sum and his agent passed the message on to Napoli.
Among those interested are Manchester United and Arsenal.
Primarily a right-back, the 24-year-old has also played on the left on occasion this season after Faouzi Ghoulam’s injury.
