Juventus full-back Alex Sandro looks forward to the Derby della Mole with Torino – “a very special game”.

The Bianconeri were knocked-out of the Champions League by Bayern Munich in midweek, and now turn their attentions to their pursuit of a fifth-consecutive Serie A title.

“I expect a very difficult match, as they all are in the Italian League,” Alex Sandro told JTV.

“It’s also a ‘clasico’, a very special game for the fans and four us players who feel the importance of it throughout the week, not just in the 90 minutes.

“What’s important is the three points though, we must have the determination to win them. I was happy with my assist for [Juan] Cuadrado in the first game, but we all have to be decisive on Sunday.

“Gigi Buffon’s potential record? Hopefully we won’t concede, not just in the first few minutes [Buffon will break the clean sheet record if he doesn’t concede in the first three], but for the whole game.”

Coach Massimiliano Allegri is believed to be close to agreeing a contract renewal in Turin, and the Brazilian defender praised the tactician.

“He’s a Coach whop demands the best from everyone, and that’s how he makes us grow more and more.

“Wearing the Juventus shirt means carrying a symbol which is known around the world. It’s an important shirt, and it’s a privilege to wear it and represent all the fans on the pitch.

“I’m learning so much at Juve, this season is very important for me.”
