Raul Albiol complimented Juventus for their seventh straight Scudetto and concedes Napoli “lost it” with defeat to Fiorentina.
The defender was on target in this evening’s 2-0 victory away to Sampdoria, but it was not enough, as Juve’s 0-0 at Roma secured the league.
“We compliment Juventus, as they got more points and therefore won the title,” Albiol told Mediaset Premium.

“We dropped points in Florence and that’s where we really lost the Scudetto. We’ve got to focus on ourselves, continue for our team and think of the future, as we keep improving every year.”
Maurizio Sarri has not yet confirmed his future, but there are strong reports he will walk away this summer.
“It’s only normal we want the Coach to stay, as he has made us improve so much.”
Today’s game at Marassi was halted by the referee for several minutes due to insulting chants of territorial discrimination against Neapolitans.
“Football is a sport and you must respect everyone, when winning or losing. It’s ugly to hear these chants against Neapolitans and there must be respect for all fans.”
