The agent of Sassuolo defender Francesco Acerbi confirms Zenit St Petersburg interest – “there’s the possibility of a transfer”.

It appears that Mancio isn’t stopping there, with Acerbi’s agent confirming the centre-back could also make the switch.

“Zenit want Acerbi, there’s the possibility of a transfer,” Augusto Carpeggiani admitted in an interview with Sport Express.
“Francesco aspires to win trophies and play in the Champions League and Zenit is a club which could allow him to do that.
“At the moment though there’s a contract with Sassuolo and all the parties have to agree.”
