Simone Zaza’s agent admits his Juventus future is uncertain, because he needs to play to go to Euro 2016.

The striker scored twice in the Coppa Italia win over Torino last night, but has struggled to force his way into Coach Massimiliano Allegri’s plans since arriving from Sassuolo this summer.

Despite this, the Italian international has the best minutes per goal average of any of the Bianconeri’s strikers, a stat his agent was keen to emphasise.

Despite this, the Italian international has the best minutes per goal average of any of the Bianconeri’s strikers, a stat his agent was keen to emphasise.

“It was also true before yesterday’s game, but now his average has improved further, with a goal every 73 minutes,” Christian Maifredi noted in an interview with Tuttomercatoweb.

“It’s definitely a significant stat.

“Will he stay? It’s a difficult question, because Conte’s words were clear [only those who play for their clubs will go to France]. If it weren’t for the European Championships it’d be different.

“A loan move? That’s a question for the club, not me. He’s doing all he can to find more space, and I hope Allegri will use him again in the last game of 2015 [against Carpi].

“There was already a lot of interest in him in the summer. When a player is in the national team but not playing for his club it’s inevitable there will be interest from big Leagues like England.

“At the moment though, there are no negotiations.”

The striker has been linked with Watford and West Ham United.
