“We’re working to close the deal,” Andrea Pastorello told Radio Bruno Toscana.
“We’re also waiting for another deal [Zarate] to make everything concrete. We’re working. We’re not disappointed, but we’re certainly not leaving willingly.
“We imagined being protagonists this year, for these few months it’s best we go our separate ways. Our intention is to return, to Fiorentina this is a ‘see you later’, not a ‘goodbye’.
“Now he has to play. We chose Levante because it’s a club that believes in him. We hope to replicate what he did at Parma, when Giuseppe saved his team from bottom spot.
“All I can say is that Giuseppe has Fiorentina fans in his heart. We’re saddened, but we’ve worked in the best way, both us and the club.
