Ogenyi Onazi’s agent says ‘he wants to play and have space’ and that he is ‘considering’ a Lazio exit.

The Nigeria international has struggled to break into Stefano Pioli’s team on a regular basis this season, making only six Serie A appearances.

His agent, former Biancocelesti striker Stephen Makinwa, has pushed the 23-year-old a step closer to the exit door after highlighting Onazi’s unhappiness.

“The situation hasn’t changed much,” Makinwa told Tuttomercatoweb.

“He’s a valuable player, it’s normal to have a lot of interest. We’re considering things, there still isn’t a concrete offer.

“He’s tied to the environment in Rome, but he’s young and wants to play and have space, like all footballers.

“He wants to stay in the Nigeria team, he wants to do well: he’d like to do it with Lazio, but if that’s not possible then it’s better to try with a different team.”
