Roma winger Mohamed Salah’s agent says protests from Fiorentina fans “don't affect anything”.

The Egyptian international returned to Stadio Artemio Franchi yesterday, for the first time since refusing to join the Viola on a permanent basis.

The on-loan Chelsea man had an eventful game, scoring the opener before being dismissed for two yellow cards, the second of which was for dissent.

The Egyptian international returned to Stadio Artemio Franchi yesterday, for the first time since refusing to join the Viola on a permanent basis.

The on-loan Chelsea man had an eventful game, scoring the opener before being dismissed for two yellow cards, the second of which was for dissent.

“I saw the match yesterday,” Ramy Abbas told Radio Bruno.

“It was a good game, and the result did not surprise me, Roma are a stronger team than Fiorentina. Salah played as he has in other games this season.

“The protests, as shown by the result, don't affect anything. Salah is 23-years-old, but he acts like he’s 30, he’s got European experience.

“I’d like to know the reasons for his red card, I doubt what happened is what you hear going around.

“Mohamed never had problems with the fans, he always respected them. The fans did their part, and I think every player would react the way Salah did in yesterday’s game.“The Scudetto? Rome are favourites, 100 per cent.”
