The 33-year-old has been named in Antonio Conte’s provisional 30-man squad for the tournament in France this summer, but he missed the Coupe de France final with a calf injury.

“He’s fine,” Alessandro Canovi told Tuttomeracatoweb.

“We’re in Rome, Thiago has been assessed and he’s fine. As is right, the Federation will assess him but he’s available and ready to be called-up.

“It was a precautionary stop [missing the cup final], in agreement with PSG he wasn’t in the squad in case of causing further problems.

“Today’s visit to Rome has confirmed that he’s fine though. Now we’ll go to Florence, everything else is out of our hands and it’s rightly Conte’s decision.”
