Agent Davide Torchia believes Juventus want to keep Daniele Rugani. ‘Max Allegri has a certain idea about the defence’.
Rugani spent last season on loan at Stade Rennais and Cagliari and returns to the Bianconeri ahead 2021-22.
The soon-to-be 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from the club, but his agent believes the centre-back is wanted at Juve.
“If Juventus wanted to sell him, they could do it whenever they want,” Torchia told Radio Sportiva. “Right now, they want to keep him because Allegri has a certain idea about the defence and it’s looks like we are going ahead like this.”
The agent was asked if Daniele Rugani would continue at the Allianz Stadium even if Giorgio Chiellini renews his deal with the Bianconeri.
“Of course, there could be a sale, and it could also be Daniele. But Juventus treat him well and value the lad, and they also make these evaluations.”
