Handanovic has made no secret of his desire to play in the Champions League, but his representative says he won’t leave San Siro to fulfil that desire.
“He wants to stay at Inter, despite a lot of interest,” Andrea Pastorello told Rai.
“A lot of European clubs have asked for him, but he wants to compete against the best while wearing an Inter shirt.”

Pastorello also represents Antonio Conte, who today laughed off speculation he’s close to being sacked.
“Conte and Roman Abramovich? They have a good relationship, there’s harmony between them. The Coach has a long-term project, he needs time.”
Finally, the agent was asked for his opinion after Paolo Maldini rejected a role at Milan.
“The Chinese wanted to create a triad at Milan, like the one Juventus had in the past,” Pastorello explained.
“Maldini would have been the [Roberto] Bettega of the Rossoneri, and I think he threw away a unique opportunity.”
