The versatile midfielder looks set to leave Napoli this month, as he hasn’t made a single start since signing from Sunderland in the summer.
“I can’t rule out him staying at Napoli,” Furio Valcareggi told Gianluca Di Marzio’s website.
“Roma are interested in him, but the most important thing is to find a place where he can play.”
