Now, in an interview with La Nazione, the defender’s representative has cast serious doubt on his client’s future.
“In the past few months I haven’t received a call from Fiorentina,” José Raul Iglesias revealed.

“In the past few months I haven’t received a call from Fiorentina,” José Raul Iglesias revealed.
“This behaviour makes me think the club aren’t interested in making an offer for Gonzalo’s renewal anymore.
“For some time we’ve been considering a number of offers, and I’m sure that in a few months we’ll define everything with a new club.
“I won’t say anything about the names, but what I can confirm is that a lot teams have asked about Gonzalo, and after his performance against Juventus on Sunday there have been even more.”
