Seydou Doumbia’s agent says the on-loan CSKA Moscow striker ‘doesn’t want to go back to Roma.’

The Ivory Coast international joined the Giallorossi from the Russian club in January, but headed straight back to Moscow in the summer after failing to make an impact.

His agent Jean Bernard Beytrison has explained that he doesn’t want a Roman return, but denies knowledge of CSKA deciding against paying his buyout clause.

His agent Jean Bernard Beytrison has explained that he doesn’t want a Roman return, but denies knowledge of CSKA deciding against paying his buyout clause.

“He had an ugly experience after leaving CSKA and doesn’t want to repeat it,” Beytrison told Tuttomercatoweb.

“Seydou’s wish is certainly not to change teams. Moreover, CSKA Moscow are still on course to progress in the Champions League.

“From my part I can say that CSKA have never told me that they don’t want to sign him. However that’s something that the two clubs will agree.

“Yes, there was talk of China being a possible option.”
