However, Marco Borriello's arrival from Milan on deadline day has limited his chances of making an impact under Roma boss Claudio Ranieri.
Asked if his client would be staying in the capital amid interest back home in Brazil, Rinaldi said: "Yes, for me, yes.
"However, it's not like my opinion prevails over that of the player. If Adriano says that he has the desire to play for Corinthians, then I will do everything to make him happy.
"When he told me that he wanted to return to Italy, I obeyed and he now plays for Roma.
"I saw Adriano a couple of days ago. I found him calm. He told me that he wanted to keep taking his chances playing in Italy."
