Atalanta are all set to sign Torino talent Michel Adopo as a free agent after he let his contract run down, claim multiple sources.

Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia are both confident the deal has been done and Adopo will put pen to paper with La Dea this summer.

Adopo turns 23 in July and joined the Torino youth academy in January 2018, going out on loan to Viterbese from 2021 to 2022.

He made nine Serie A appearances this season and two in the Coppa Italia, scoring a goal against Milan in the Round of 16.

However, his agent stated repeatedly in recent months that he was not happy at the lack of playing opportunities under Ivan Juric and would not sign a new contract.

Adopo is now expected to join Atalanta as a free agent.

He is primarily a midfielder, but can also play in central defence when needed.
