The 28-year-old, who was the hero at the Tardini as his two goals helped the Gialloblu to a last-gasp 3-2 victory, had spoken of his desire last week to swap jerseys with the Brazilian legend.
“No, I didn’t ask Kaka for his jersey as I wanted to keep mine,” he stated. “It was an unforgettable day, to remember and to keep amongst my best memories.
“I dedicate the free-kick goal to Mario Bortolazzi,” he added. “I always work with him on free-kicks and I am happy to pay him back.
“The other goal is for my wife and family – they supported me when people were criticising. Now, I hope, I have proved that I can remain in Serie A as a protagonist.”
The former Cesena player now has five goals in nine top-flight encounters so far this season.
“Yes, I am the club’s top scorer so far this term, but the real joy is winning,” he insisted.
“We played great football for an hour. We believed in the win until the end and it was deserved.
“We still have less points than we deserved, though, but it was the best way to begin this difficult week.”
Parma are at Genoa in midweek before entertaining Juventus.
