Gianluca Scamacca has decided to join Atalanta from West Ham, despite previous interest from a number of top teams in Serie A, including Inter, Milan and Roma. He will join on a permanent deal worth €25m plus €5m in add-ons. 

Inter are now said to be interested once again in Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun after losing out on Scamacca. 

Charles De Ketelaere is also close to making a move to Atalanta on an initial loan deal from Milan with an option to make the move permanent by the end of the season. 

Meanwhile, Rasmus Hojlund is expected to be officially unveiled as a new Manchester United player on Saturday, moving to Old Trafford for €75m plus €10m bonuses from Atalanta.
