Dusan Vlahovic would prefer to stay on with Juventus rather than move to the Premier League to join Chelsea this summer according to Saturday morning’s reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Juventus remain interested in making a deal with Chelsea for former Inter striker Romelu Lukaku, but the Belgian’s arrival would depend on Vlahovic being moved on, or for him to move to Chelsea as part of an exchange deal.
On page six of Saturday’s print edition, La Gazzetta highlight that Vlahovic did not ask for a move, but is aware that it could happen and would not oppose it.
Vlahovic, who scored late on in Thursday’s pre-season win over Real Madrid, wants to send a message that a potential move to Chelsea is the decision of the club and not one that he has made personally.
If he did leave and had a choice in his future destination, his preference would reportedly be to join Paris Saint-Germain and play in the Champions League.
The Serbian is, however, reported to be preparing for Juventus’ opening game of the 2023-24 Serie A season against Udinese as usual.
Go now Vlahovic!
Most overrated cry baby player ever!
Come to Chelsea and help us win the Premier league!
Clueless Soul. Second most important player after Chiesa. He needs more service. Or maybe a different manager.
Under Italiano Vlahovic scored 17 serie A goals for Fiorentina in 5 months. He scored less in 2 years under Allegri. The problem is Allegri negative tactics.
Get rid of Allegri. Put an attack mided, positive thinking coach in his plac, and DV will be back to his best.
