Al-Nassr seem to be working out the final details for Marcelo Brozovic, as their directors were spotted at the Inter headquarters this afternoon.

Sky Sport Italia had reported there would be a crucial summit today between the two clubs and that is precisely what happened.

The encounter lasted two hours between CEO Ahmad Al Ghamdi and the Nerazzurri chiefs.

The midfielder had been holding out for the Barcelona move instead, but that seemed to be scuppered by the refusal of Franck Kessie to be part of an exchange deal.

Inter are expected to pocket circa €23-25m from the sale of Brozovic, while the player is negotiating a contract worth a remarkable €20m per season.

That money will then be reinvested in the purchase of Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi, who is also a target for Milan, Juventus and Roma.

It is truly the end of an era for Brozovic, who first joined Inter from Dinamo Zagreb in January 2015, making the loan move stick for a total cost of €8m.
