Galatasaray are open to letting Italy international Nicolò Zaniolo join Juventus after talks today, claim Sportitalia, with Weston McKennie more than Moise Kean in the deal.

There had already been suggestions on Monday from the same source that Juve were the absolute favourites for Zaniolo’s signature and could lower the asking price by including a player as part of the package.

It was between Kean and McKennie, but now Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà notes that the United States international midfielder is more suited to the move, having just returned from a loan at Leeds United.

He insists there was a positive video call between the clubs today that saw negotiations progress, with Galatasaray open to the idea of the sale.

Zaniolo is also a target for Fiorentina, Napoli and Milan on a potential return to Serie A, but the interest from Juventus goes back a very long way to before he left Roma in February.
