Milan Skriniar’s future at Inter appears increasingly in doubt, and according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, PSG are ready to offer €30m in the January transfer window.

The Slovakia international had reached an agreement with the Ligue 1 giants in June, but the Nerazzurri refused to sell for less than €70m.

Skriniar had previously agreed to sign a contract extension with Inter, but the terms are no longer valid as PSG offered higher wages to the ex-Samp man who sees his current deal run out in June.

Inter directors were expected to meet Skriniar’s entourage during the international break, but according to Gazzetta, no contact will be made in the coming weeks, also due to the team’s recent bad results.

Inter are aware that they won’t be able to match PSG’s offer to Skriniar, but would still hope to finalise a deal for a salary in the region of €6.5-7m per season.

Nevertheless, PSG remain interested in the 27-year-old and according to Gazzetta, the Ligue 1 giants will offer €30m in the January transfer window as they are still looking for a solid centre-back.

If Skriniar refuses to sign a new deal with the Nerazzurri, Inter could decide to sell in January to avoid seeing him leave for nothing in June.
