After almost joining West Ham in the summer, Jacub Kiwior has continued impressing with Spezia, attracting serious interest from Paolo Maldini and Milan.

The 22-year-old Pole is one of the most exciting youngsters in Serie A currently, shining with the Ligurian side as he does well playing as both a centre back and defensive midfielder. West Ham submitted an offer for Kiwior in the summer and were only a step away from securing his signature before things collapsed, and Roma were also keen on a move.

As detailed by Calciomercato.com, Milan are also big fans of Kiwior and heavily discussed the 22-year-old whilst negotiating Daniel Maldini’s loan move to the club during the summer transfer window.

The Rossoneri are keeping a close eye on the Polish defenders’s development in Liguria but they haven’t yet made any offers, waiting to see how well Malick Thiaw adapts to life in Lombardy. The 21-year-old arrived from Schalke for around €6m in the summer and hasn’t yet made his debut under Stefano Pioli.
