According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Eintracht Frankfurt have set their sights on Andrea Pinamonti, with Inter ready to sell the promising striker for €20-25m.

The 22-year-old has scored 12 goals in 33 Serie A games during his loan spell at Empoli this season. His contract with Inter expires in June 2024 and the Nerazzurri have already received a few calls from clubs interested in him.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A giants don’t want to part ways with the striker but will be forced to sell if they receive a credible offer for him. The defending Serie A champions could agree to sell Pinamonti for €20-25m and Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt have already opened preliminary talks with the Nerazzurri.

Pinamonti scored a brace against Napoli on Sunday and has been praised by Empoli President Fabrizio Corsi.

“He has quality and has had a chance to play consistently this season,” he told Radio 1.

“Marotta has congratulated us. I hope the best decisions will be made for his future because I believe Pinamonti can become an important player.”

9 thought on “Inter set price tag for Pinamonti”
  1. Inter have got to be clueless if they sell Pinamonti, a life long Inter fan who will probably give everything on the pitch in an Inter shirt, and get an injury prone Dybala or some other average foreign player like Correa or Caicedo.

  2. Good move if he moves aboard, it’ll improve him as a player and give La Nazionale some creditable and much needed options

  3. @TOKEN BUBBLE Why does he need to move abroad to give the NT options? Would going to Newcastle for instance be a better option than returning to Inter? The NT need more Italians playing regularly in the league and Europe for the bigger Serie A clubs

  4. Big mistake in sell Pinamonti! I would get rid of Dzeko and the Inter dead wood and bring in the young men who want to play well to make a future!

  5. This is a case of , the neighbor’s pot smells better. Why waste money on mercenaries and discard those who really love the club’s colours? There are quite a few examples in the squad already.

  6. Inter should learn from the past and include buy-back clause in case they sell Pinamonti. Or at least re-sale % LOL.

He needs to constantly play to further develop, but I believe in him.

  7. Pinamonti is an example of players that are played actually do improve. I do not care which club he ends playing for even though, I do agree that he should return to Inter. I just want Pinamonti and every other footballer to play. I have noticed that Bellanova that plays at Cagliari has improved because he is actually playing. Playing improves the overall skills and confidence. I think De Sciglio is correct when he stated that young footballers should even go abroad as long as they play rather than being on the bench and not improving.

  8. People should look at the game films more closely. Pinamonti does have good awareness and good eye for goals, but his physical ability is average. I think his ceiling is below that of a super star. For example, I can’t find many films of him beating a defender with superior speed. Compare him to Lukaku, how many times did you see Lukaku simply blowing by defenders last year? I can still remember in the Milan game, Lukaku just destroyed Romagnoli because he was so fast. I don’t think Pinamonti can ever do that. That’s why Pinamonti’s ceiling is probably 30 million, and Inter might be tempted to cash in on him.
