Il Corriere dello Sport reports Lorenzo Pellegrini doesn’t want to leave Roma and is ready to sign a contract extension until 2026.
The Italy international sees his contract expire in June 2022, but his agent met Tiago Pinto last week to begin negotiations on a new contract with the Serie A giants.
Pellegrini has a €30m release clause included in his current deal and Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing him.
However, according to Il Corriere dello Sport, the 25-year-old doesn’t want to leave Roma and will soon put pen to paper on a new deal.
The two parties are not believed to have already reached an agreement, but Roma’s project for the future has convinced Pellegrini to extend his stay in the capital.
