According to Tuttosport, Everton are interested in signing Inter defender Stefan de Vrij, but the Nerazzurri haven’t received a formal offer yet.
The player’s agent Mino Raiola is reportedly offering the Dutch defender to Premier League clubs, but, on paper, Inter are not willing to sell another of their stars after Achraf Hakimi’s €71m move to PSG.
However, Suning want to earn €80m from the summer transfer window, so it is possible the Nerazzurri would sit down to discuss a further sale in the future.
The Turin-based paper reports that Everton have shown interest in De Vrij and opened preliminary talks with Mino Raiola, but Inter have not received a formal bid yet.
According to the report, Alessandro Bastoni would replace De Vrij as a centre defender in a three-man backline if the former Lazio centre-back moves to the Premier League.
New Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has already coached De Vrij at the Stadio Olimpico and doesn’t want him to leave this summer.
During his unveiling press conference, the Italian tactician claimed he expects Hakimi to be the only top player to leave Inter in the current transfer window.
