Roma forward Nicolo Zaniolo posted a picture of himself training with a ball. ‘How I missed you’.

The Giallorossi attacker picked up two different knee injuries in 2020, the first one against Juventus in Serie A and the second against the Netherlands in a Nations League match with Italy.

He underwent two knee surgeries, the last one this past September and today he posted a photo to underline the progress made after so many months out.

The 21-year-old has previously stressed he won’t rush anything but believes he will be back in time to feature for Italy in Euro 2020 this summer.

“Restart,” he wrote on Instagram. “How I missed you.”
