Massa will be under close scrutiny as he handles the Biancocelesti, whose President Claudio Lotito instigated the whole controversy after his goalkeeper Federico Marchetti was sent off in the Lazio-Genoa game.
Carmine Russo will officiate Cesena-Juventus, while Paolo Valeri will handle Milan–Empoli, two matches which are also potentially contentious following tension between the Bianconeri and the Rossoneri.
