Stevan Jovetic admits Manchester City watched CSKA Moscow-Roma and “celebrated a great deal.”

The last-gasp 1-1 draw meant City were still in with a chance of qualification and they beat 10-man Bayern Munich 3-2 later that evening to put themselves in joint second place.

“We were watching their game and honestly celebrated a great deal when CSKA equalised. We knew we needed at least a point today and got a victory,” Jovetic told Sky Sport Italia.

The permutations mean Manchester City can qualify as long as CSKA don’t beat Bayern and they either win at the Olimpico on December 10 or earn a score draw. Click here for a guide.

“Now we must go to Roma in order to win. I think if we go there looking for a draw, then we will lose,” warned Jo-Jo.
