Bram Nuytinck is proud to captain Udinese against Juventus in their Serie A opener: ‘We are ready.’
The Friulani host the Old Lady at the Dacia Arena. It kicks off at 17.30 UK time.
“I think we are ready, we have worked very hard in the last few weeks and the feeling is positive. The first game is always important and playing against Juventus is always nice,” the defender told DAZN.
“Juve are a great team with important qualities, but I think we also have quality players and that it is essential to remain united. We have to be ready mentally, then we’ll see.”
This is Nuytinck’s fifth season at Udinese and today he will wear the captain armband.
“For me, it is an honour to have the armband although I do not think that will change anything in the way I work. I’ve always given everything for the team and the city, and I’m going to keep it up.”
