Gianfranco Zola believes the Serie A title race “will go down to the last day, but it’d be wonderful if Napoli won” ahead of Juventus.

There is only one point separating the top two teams and a massive gap behind them, so it’s very much a two-horse race.

“Napoli play spectacular football and I am enchanted every time I watch the Azzurri,” Zola told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“They deserve credit for having an exceptional squad and a Coach who has been able to get the best out of the players at his disposal.

“Maurizio Sarri is a great teacher for this team. It’s going to be a real fight to the end for the Scudetto and I think it will go down to the last day.

“It’d be wonderful if Napoli won. I can imagine the celebration the Azzurri fans would put on, it’d be an indescribable joy. I’d definitely come to Naples to join the party!”

Meanwhile, Juventus see their Champions League ambitions in the balance after a 2-2 home draw with Tottenham Hotspur.

“I don’t think qualification is compromised at all. They can certainly win it in England.”
