Gianfranco Zola tells Inter that Juventus aren’t “unbeatable” and discusses Frank Lampard.

Sunday night sees the Nerazzurri travel to Turin for a showdown with the League leaders, and the former Chelsea man believes they can get a result.

“Juventus aren’t unbeatable because they’ve lost a few games,” Zola pointed out in an interview with Sky Sport Italia.

“They’re going there as one of the most in-form teams but it will take a great performance. A draw would be a good result.”

Zola was also asked about his former teammate Lampard, who today announced his retirement from football.

“He worked so much, above all at the end of training when he’d work more separately, that’s why he became what he did and why he’s deserved everything he’s done.

“Lampard impressed me because after every session with [Claudio] Ranieri he’d always want to stay at least half an hour to work on his shooting, his technique, his passing.

“Sometimes he had to be sent away, or he’d have stayed on the pitch forever!

“Ranieri wanted him at Chelsea and he did very well, he had value and personality. He arrived at a club with midfielders who had made their mark, valuable players among whom he carved out a space for himself.

“Could he be a manager? To do that you need different qualities to those of a player, they have different qualities.

“But if he wants to do it and works as hard as he did before then he’ll definitely be good.”
