Reports say that Napoli will consider a bid for PSG’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic if Gonzalo Higuain is sold.

The Partenopei’s Argentine striker set an all-time record by scoring 36 Serie A goals this season and will be hot property in the transfer market this summer.

Gazzetta dello Sport has today revealed rumours from Ibra’s home country Sweden that the PSG man could be brought in if Higuain leaves the San Paolo.

The Swede will leave the French champions after his contract expires next month and there is believed to be interest from Milan as well as the Premier League, China and MLS.

Gazzetta has reported news from Sweden that Ibra’s apparent desire to stay in Europe could see the Vesuviani bid if they lose their number one striker.

The newspaper writes that the 34-year-old is fascinated by the city and could be tempted by Napoli’s automatic Champions League spot.

However, his salary demands will be high and therefore a move would only be considered if Higuain was to be sold this summer, says the report.

Ibra has been in even more prolific form than Higuain this season, scoring 38 league goals for PSG as they stormed to the Ligue 1 title.
