Zdenek Zeman has asked Roma to make a move for Napoli-owned Pescara forward Lorenzo Insigne.

The Italian Under-21 international has worked with the tactician over the last 24 months at firstly Foggia and then Pescara – now he's wanted in Rome.

“The first thing that Zeman did when he arrived at Roma was to ask his club officials if there was the possibility of signing Insigne,” agent Antonio Ottaino told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

The future of the talented forward is in doubt given that the Azzurri own his contract and there are several clubs keen on his services.

“We still haven’t spoken to Napoli, but I think a meeting will take place this week,” the representative continued.
