Giallorossi director Walter Sabatini noted this week that his club has more supporters within the city walls.

“We may have fewer fans than them, but ours are certainly louder,” Tare replied on Sky Sport Italia.

“They have always been close to the team and will be our 12th man in this derby.

“Roma are a great team and we respect them, but we do not fear them. We know their weak spots and how to make the most of them.

“We are also playing on ‘home’ turf in front of our fans. The Europa League victory against Panathinaikos brought back enthusiasm, although I believe the Giallorossi have an advantage as they only play once a week.”

Roma Coach Zeman made his return to the Olimpico, but he was first of all hired by Lazio from 1994-97.

“He is a Coach who has experienced this challenge on both sides of the city. This is why I think that, at least some of his heart is a little bit Laziale…” smiled Tare.

“Miroslav Klose is a champion and a reference point for the team, so his arrival really reinforced the squad. He can be the decisive man in this derby.”
