“They had a bad start, but they’re a very good team and they’re proving that,” Zeman mused in an interview with Il Mattino.

“They’re the team which has played the best football over the last month.

“Can they fight for the title? I think so. They have the technical qualities, but something which is concerning about Napoli is that their mood seems to change week-by-week.

“Napoli have made great strides in recent years, and I think that at the moment they’re close to bridging the gap.”

The Czech Coach is well known for his ‘Zemanlandia’ approach of attacking football, and sees similarities between himself an Benitez.

“Benitez and I have something in common in regard to our approach to the game.

“If you make big claims and set yourself challenges and then you don’t win? What’s left then, apart from words?

“It’s not the right mindset, and this is something which is a flaw in Italian sporting education.”
