Gaetano D’Agostino expects Siena teammate Mattia Destro to thrive under Roma boss Zdenek Zeman.

The young striker is set to move to the capital club, via Genoa, after his 12 goals in Serie A last season.

“He is a young lad who is living through some intense days,” the former Udinese” data-scaytid=”8″>Udinese playmaker told Sky Sport Italia.

“I’ve looked to give him some advice at this delicate stage of his career.”

Reports this morning suggest that the Italian Under-21 international will imminently join the Giallorossi after Siena and Genoa resolved his co-ownership.

“I think that he would do very well at Roma should he end up there,” D’Agostino continued. “Zeman is the ideal man to bring out his talent.”

Zeman is an attack minded 4-3-3 tactician whose sides historically score plenty of goals.
