Simone Zaza is “learning a great deal” from Italy Coach Antonio Conte and warned he doesn’t want a Premier League move right now.

The Azzurri have their final warm-up match ahead of Euro 2016, facing Finland in Verona on Monday evening.

“Conte told us he is the first to believe in us and therefore we have to believe in ourselves too,” the Juventus striker told Rai Sport.

“We worked hard and tomorrow we’ll see what shape we’re in. We had double training sessions almost every day, both physical and tactical. Running wasn’t enough, as we had to be concentrated too.

“What can we expect from this Italy team? We will all give 100 per cent and where we can’t get with quality, we’ll bridge the gap with heart.”

Zaza is impressed by Conte’s leadership skills and approach to football.

“He won so much over his career and wants to try winning with the Nazionale too. Personally, he is teaching me a great deal in terms of character as well.

“I am certainly not someone who feels afraid or lets his head drop, so I didn’t let being on the bench hurt me this season.”

There have been reports of interest from Leicester City and West Ham United for the former Sassuolo centre-forward.

“I never said no to the idea of one day playing in the Premier League. However, my objective for now is to definitively make my mark in Italy.”

Zaza revealed there are some things he, and his family, are afraid of.

“My father will drive for many hours to see me play in France, as he’s scared of flying. I was too and to overcome it I had to get something off the doctor to calm me down.

“I had to fly a lot with Juve, so I learned to get used to it and find ways of dealing with it myself.”
