Sassuolo sporting director Giovanni Carnevale reveals the club wants €15m each for Domenico Berardi and Simone Zaza.

Juventus own half of the former’s registration, while they retain a buyback clause on Zaza worth €15m this summer, and €18m next year.

“For Zaza and Berardi I can say that half will cost €15m,” Carnevale explained at a Press conference to introduce new technical director Guido Angelozzi.

“Those are the figures on paper, but it’s different when it comes down to something concrete.

“Juventus will want to take both at the same time for a lower price, that’s normal. Sassuolo will focus on young Italians, we won’t do crazy things, but we’ll try to do well.

“At the moment the priority is Zaza and Berardi, we haven’t decided yet who will come in and who will leave.

“We want a squad of 25 players this season, and the objective of the club is the future, and not just the immediate future.”
