Cristian Zapata admits Milan are going through “a difficult time” but thanks fans for their support.
The Rossoneri have not won in three games, and are currently five points worse off than this stage last season, which saw them finish 10th.
“It’s a difficult time,” Zapata admitted in an interview with Milan Channel.
“We can’t express our style of play and we’re conceding too easily. We have to keep working and try to win as a team.

“The fans? They’re important, they’re supporting us despite this difficult period we’re going through. We hope to make them very happy on Sunday.”
Sunday sees Sassuolo visit San Siro in a match which could be crucial to the future of Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, and Zapata expects a tough test.
“It will be a tough game, they’re doing better than us and they’re playing well. We have to do everything to win and move up the table.”
